El grupo inglés One Direction sigue colocándose como líder de ventas en el mundo y México no podía ser la excepción, pues a menos de un mes de su lanzamiento lograron alcanzar doble Disco de Platino con su producción “Midnight memories”.

La hazaña del quinteto en México se logró al superar las 120 mil unidades vendidas, contando las crecientes ventas digitales, demostrando que los chicos siguen estando a la cabeza en cuanto a popularidad y lealtad de sus ‘directioners’ se refiere.

Además, One Direction alcanzó el primer lugar de las listas radiales anglo en nuestro país con su más reciente sencillo “Story of my life”.

Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles y Louis Tomlinson se unieron en 2010 y desde entonces han cosechado gran fama y éxito global, vendiendo más de 32 millones de discos y alcanzando el número 1 en las listas mundiales 61 veces.

Fortaleciendo el lanzamiento de “Midnight memories”, el grupo anunció la primera etapa de una gira mundial en estadios durante 2014, incluyendo dos fechas en el Wembley Stadium de Londres. Aún no se confirma fecha para México, pero Styles dejó entrever que podrían presentar su espectáculo en el Azteca
