Como saben The Wanted anunció hace unos días que esta sería su última gira y se separarían un tiempo, pero nos quedaba claro que sería algo temporal. Pues Max George, cantante de The Wanted dijo que la verdadera razón por la que la banda se está separando fue... ¿One Direction? ¡eso es algo que no nos esperábamos! Sabíamos que había una rivalidad constante entre los chicos pero no pensamos que sería suficiente razón para que se separaran. En una supuesta entrevista con The Sun, Max George dijo que además de la creciente tensión entre los integrantes de la banda, simplemente no podían competir con el gran éxito de One Direction. Y agregó: One Direction es un fenómeno con el que nadie puede competir. Nos han sacado del mercado, y aunque tenemos nuestros propios fans y los amamos no pudimos detener el curso de las cosas. Por más triste que sea no es algo que debería sorprender a nadie, tengo que vivir mi vida. Nathan y yo no hemos roto ninguna promesa porque ambos participaremos en el tour.
