One Direction regrets death

Kevin Benson, a member of the team that helped set the stage for the group's performance at the Echo Arena in Liverpool (North West England) died last Sunday at the hospital where he had been transferred after falling and hitting his head fainted.



"The band, which was in his hotel in Manchester at the time of the incident, offered his condolences. Their thoughts and prayers are with Kevin's family at this difficult time," said a spokesman for the group in the Liverpool Echo newspaper.



Meanwhile, an ambulance service representative who treated the victim, said he received a call at 10.30 am and on arrival found a man about 45 who had entered a cardiac arrest after she collapsed.



"We can ensure that a person who worked at the Echo Arena Liverpool was taken to hospital on Sunday morning, where he later died. Our condolences go to his family at this sad time," said a spokesman of the enclosure

Kevin Benson, miembro del equipo que ayudaba a montar el escenario del grupo para su actuación en el Echo Arena de Liverpool (noroeste de Inglaterra) murió el pasado domingo en el hospital al que había sido trasladado después de caer desmayado y golpearse la cabeza.



"La banda, que estaba en su hotel de Manchester en el momento del incidente, ofrece sus sinceras condolencias. Sus pensamientos y oraciones están con la familia de Kevin en estos momentos tan difíciles", señaló un portavoz del grupo en el periódico Liverpool Echo.



Por su parte, un representante del servicio de ambulancias que atendió a la víctima, aseguró que recibieron una llamada a las 10.30 de la mañana y al llegar encontraron a un hombre de unos 45 años que había entrado en un paro cardiorrespiratorio tras haberse desmayado.



"Podemos asegurar que una persona que trabajaba en el Echo Arena Liverpool fue trasladado al hospital el domingo por la mañana, donde posteriormente murió. Nuestras condolencias van a su familia en este triste momento", manifestó un portavoz del recinto
