For a radio contest, the British band One Direction had another strange episode with fans.
British Radio Free Radio launched a contest giving away two tickets to a show of One Direction for which tickets are no longer available and had no better idea to organize a "treasure hunt".
The radio gave clues that were erroneously: about 100 fans came to the house of Liam Payne, one of the members of the group, and took a clean sweep your garden.
Later, Payne's father, Geoff, said he was "much better now that the contest is over" and that the family had people hovering near his house for days.
"I'm happy to have found someone," he added, after living this difficult time.
After the confusion of the fans, the radio station apologized "wholeheartedly" to the family of a member of One Direction.

Más tarde, el padre de Payne, Geoff, dijo que estaba "mucho mejor ahora que el concurso terminó" ya que la familia tuvo gente rondando cerca de su casa durante días.
"Estoy contento que alguien las haya encontrado", agregó, luego de vivir ese momento difícil.
Tras la confusión de los fans, la emisora radial le pidió disculpas "de todo corazón" a la familia del integrante de One Direction.
